Description
Piltz Dunant, known by her hero name Lady Black, is the hero representing Switzerland in the world of Shy. In her civilian life she is a nursing student, and she also works as a nurse in the Medical Department of Black Cross, an international medical organization. Because of this role, she frequently travels around the world for Black Cross missions in addition to her regular duties as a hero.

Piltz lost both legs in an accident and now uses prosthetic legs, but she refuses to let her disability define her. She carries herself with pride as Switzerland's hero and maintains a hard, no-nonsense exterior. She is recognized for her bravery, her reliability, and her commitment to humanitarian aid, having chosen to follow the example of her parents, who devoted themselves to assisting people in humanitarian crises around the world.

Her motivation is centered on helping others through both medicine and hero work. She genuinely wants to support and protect people, which is why she combines nursing with heroics and why she is willing to travel anywhere for Black Cross missions. In battle and crisis situations she acts as a dependable source of support for other heroes, using her healing abilities to treat injuries and her courage to stand alongside her allies.

Piltz is a close friend of Teru Momijiyama, also known as Shy, Japan's hero. The relationship is marked by mutual respect mixed with blunt honesty. Piltz is supportive of Teru, but she is also direct and can become annoyed by Teru's insecurity and lack of confidence. When Teru feels overwhelmed by public attention, Piltz steps in and speaks on her behalf, and the rest of the hero team often praises her for her leadership in such situations.

Throughout the story, Piltz appears as a calm and competent supporting figure within the global hero community. She participates in missions alongside Teru and other heroes during confrontations with enemy groups such as Amaralilk and Inori, providing healing, experience, and steady guidance. Her development is seen largely through her growing bond with Teru, whom she helps become a more assured hero, while her own defining strength lies in her resilience and her refusal to be limited by her injury.

Her notable abilities include a healing power, which she uses both as a hero and as a medical professional, as well as the combat skills expected of a national hero. Her medical training, her prosthetic legs, and her courage combine to make her a dependable and experienced presence among the world's heroes.
