Description
Motokuni Nakayama is a supporting character in the anime Pseudo Harem, where he serves as the president of the school's drama club. As the club's leader, he is responsible for recruiting members and fostering an environment where the students can enjoy performing. He first approaches Rin Nanakura after recognizing her natural acting ability and personally encourages her to join the drama club, a decision that shapes much of the story's setup because it brings Rin into the same club as her senior Eiji Kitahama.

In terms of personality, Nakayama is friendly, outgoing, and good-humored. He is known for cheering on his clubmates and wanting everyone to have fun while doing their best in each play. His supportive attitude makes him a steady presence within the group, and his enthusiasm for the club's activities helps keep the atmosphere light and welcoming. He tends to approach situations with passion and humor rather than strictness, and he seems to enjoy making people laugh.

His most memorable trait is a signature comedic routine known as the full-power handsome face, an exaggerated pose and expression he performs as a joke. The bit became so popular among his friends that Eiji Kitahama used an image of it as the wallpaper on his phone. The routine is a good example of how Nakayama uses playful behavior to entertain the people around him.

In the story, Nakayama functions mainly in a supporting role. He is the one who brings Rin into the drama club, which is how the two leads come to spend so much time together, and his cheerful guidance helps both Rin and Eiji as they take part in the club's productions. His belief in Rin's talent is clear from the start, and he continues to encourage her as she develops as an actress. His relationships are defined by this warmth: with Rin, he is a mentor-like figure who spotted her ability and pushed her to join, and with Eiji, he is a fellow club member and friend who shares jokes and lighthearted moments. While he does not undergo major personal growth over the course of the series, his steady encouragement and comedic presence make him a consistent part of the drama club's daily life.
