Description
Jack the Ripper from the anime Undead Murder Farce is depicted as a young man in his early twenties with a striking and unsettling appearance. He is characterized by his bright red hair and matching red eyes, with bold, tattoo-like red lines running across his limbs, near his major arteries, and on the right side of his face. These features mark him as a being who is neither fully human nor fully demon.

His background is rooted in the infamous Whitechapel murders of 1888. In this version of the story, the legendary killer was only fifteen years old when he committed those unsolved crimes in London's East End, an accomplishment that established him as a figure of mystery and terror. Later in the narrative, he becomes a disciple of the criminal mastermind James Moriarty. After reading Moriarty's research on body modification experiments, Jack sought him out to have the powers of a monster transplanted into his own body, willingly transforming himself into an artificial hybrid.

Personality-wise, Jack is defined by a disturbing and absolute calmness. He never loses his composure, even in the most perilous situations, and this cool exterior masks an extreme, cold-hearted cruelty. He kills without hesitation and is shown to view the act of taking a life as a fundamental part of his ideology. Despite his brutality, he maintains a polite and respectful demeanor, particularly towards his teacher, Moriarty.

As a fighter, Jack possesses exceptional abilities. His combat skills are said to surpass even those of the protagonist Tsugaru Shinuchi, who is also a human-demon hybrid. Jack's primary weapons are blade-like knives attached to his arms, which allow him to slice through his opponents with deadly precision. His power is further augmented when he captures a demon in Japan and later attacks and beheads the immortal Aya Rindo, stealing her body. From this act, he gains her supernatural abilities, including powerful regenerative healing, enhanced resistance to disease, and senses sharpened to a superhuman degree, similar to a vampire's.

In the story, Jack serves as a key enforcer for Moriarty and his organization, Banquet. He is presented as Moriarty's "crown jewel" and most formidable creation. One of his primary missions is to help Moriarty secure a diamond to aid in the creation of a chimeric masterpiece involving werewolves. His relationship with Moriarty is one of absolute loyalty and respect, and he follows his teacher's orders without question. He also shares a significant connection with Tsugaru Shinuchi, whom he recognizes as the only test subject to ever escape from Moriarty's laboratory.

While a devastatingly powerful combatant, Jack's development shows a notable weakness: he can be outsmarted. He is depicted as being less wily and cunning than Tsugaru. This flaw is most clearly demonstrated in a fight where, despite physically besting his opponent, Jack has a valuable diamond pickpocketed from his pocket by Tsugaru, who outmaneuvers him with a simple trick. This incident highlights that while his raw power is immense, he can still be defeated by clever strategy and misdirection.
