Kyōsuke Gomi is a student at the private school where the story takes place. He is the son of the most influential man in town, a position that allows him to act without consequence. Gomi is a violent class bully who confronts the protagonist, Hikaru Shihodo, almost immediately after Hikaru transfers to the school. His aggressive and confrontational personality stems from the power and impunity his family’s status grants him. He is accustomed to getting away with any cruel behavior, and he uses intimidation to maintain his dominance among the students.
