Though less adept at ground strikes, he forged an unshakable bond with Shin Kazama, the squadron’s stoic protagonist, balancing Shin’s reticence with brash camaraderie. Mickey briefly commanded the unit in Saki Vashtar’s stead, advocating for fellow pilots during dire straits. His history intertwined with McBurn, a Project 4 ally turned rival, their friction fueled by post-service envy. Later, he rescued rebel flier Kitori Palvanaff (alias Sera), kindling a romance anchored in vows of a peaceful future—a dream shattered when their final sortie against McBurn ended catastrophically. Mickey’s Tomcat detonated mid-duel, with Kitori perishing in a desperate rescue attempt.
