Description
Hayaseura Takuhiko founded and led Kura, an independent police force employing the Mizuhanome system to hunt serial killers by probing their unconscious "id wells." He projected an image of a principled commander—formal but receptive to subordinates—while secretly operating as John Walker, an architect of murder who manipulated others into committing at least 44 killings.

Years prior, he discovered telepath Kiki Asukai, whose uncontrollable mental projections broadcast her thoughts and dreams. Hayaseura exploited this, repeatedly killing her in dreamscapes to desensitize accomplices and cultivate their violent urges, birthing killers like "the Challenger," "Gravedigger," and "Perforator." He privately labeled officer Akihito Narihisago "the Cornerer," planning to deploy him against unstable assets. After Asukai’s rescue from the Challenger, Hayaseura abducted her from a hospital, embedding her consciousness as the Mizuhanome’s core power source. He then established Kura to apprehend the very killers he engineered.

As John Walker in id wells, he manifested in a red frock coat, gold top hat, brown boots, and black bow tie, his face masked by red pixels. There, he adopted the alias "Uraido," an arrogant detective persona. Driven by a god complex, he orchestrated events around the number seven, which he deemed divine, while self-deceptively justifying his actions as a form of higher justice. Six months before Kura’s operations, he murdered Nishio Shirakoma—his Mizuhanome development collaborator—and concealed the body.

During investigations, Hayaseura endorsed survivor Koharu Hondomachi as a detective after her encounter with the Perforator. When exposed as John Walker, he framed investigator Funetaro Momoki for Shirakoma’s murder. Cornered by Hondomachi and Narihisago, he activated Asukai’s powers to drag Kura personnel into a shared id well for execution. Shot by Hondomachi in reality, he retreated into his own id well before death, fully embracing the Uraido identity. His consciousness remained perpetually trapped there, severed from the physical world. Shirou Kokufu assumed leadership of Kura.

Across all official media, including the manga sequel *ID:INVADED #Brake Broken*, Hayaseura’s story concludes with his consciousness imprisoned in his id well. Spin-offs like *Id:Indeed* do not alter this resolution.
