Description
Alan Pascual is a forward for the Argentine national youth team and is best known as the lifelong partner and closest friend of the team's star player, Juan Diaz. The two met at the age of five as neighbors and quickly became inseparable, practicing and playing football together constantly. Their natural synergy on the field led them to be recruited by a local club at twelve, and they went on to win the under-14 club team championship, becoming the top players of their generation in Argentina.

Pascual’s entire approach to football is defined by his partnership with Diaz. He is a technically gifted player who uses his skills not only to score but primarily to create opportunities for his partner. Often wearing the jersey number 12, he is the primary provider of assists to Diaz, and their famous combination plays, collectively known as the Argentina Combi, are a cornerstone of their team's offense. These coordinated maneuvers involve a series of swift, well-synchronized passes, heel juggles, and overhead kicks that allow the duo to break through defensive lines.

In the Junior Youth Arc, Pascual and Diaz first appear together as spectators, scouting potential opponents like Karl Heinz Schneider. During the tournament, Argentina faces Japan in a high-stakes quarterfinal match. In this game, Pascual proves to be a constant threat alongside Diaz. They combine early to exploit a distracted Tsubasa Ozora, with Pascual playing a key role in the buildup to Argentina’s opening goal. His value is not limited to offense; he demonstrates defensive commitment as well, executing a scissors tackle to stop a play by Japan's powerful striker Kojiro Hyuga. Despite Argentina building an early 3-0 lead, Japan mounts a comeback. Pascual has his own chances to score, but his shots are saved by the Japanese goalkeeper. The match ends in a narrow 5-4 loss for Argentina, a defeat that becomes a major motivation for the team.

Pascual possesses a diverse set of abilities that make him a versatile and unpredictable player. He is a skilled dribbler, using feints and a supple South American-style dribble to evade opponents. His technical repertoire includes acrobatic aerial shots like the overhead kick and the more complex Argentinian Double Overhead, performed in unison with Diaz. He is also a capable defender, employing techniques like the Scissors Tackle, the Crab Pincer Interception to stop aerial balls, and combination tackles performed with Diaz. His physical appearance includes brown hair and gray eyes.

Following the loss to Japan in the Junior Youth tournament, Pascual's motivation, like that of his teammates, becomes centered on achieving revenge and defeating Tsubasa Ozora on the world stage. His journey continues beyond the Junior Youth Arc, as he remains a member of the Argentine national team for the World Youth tournament and later the Olympic team, still partnering with Diaz. Eventually, his career takes him to England, where he plays for the club Manchester Blue. Even on this new path separate from Diaz, his desire to be the best in the world and his reputation as a brilliant technician and excellent teammate remain unchanged.
