Description
Peashy, known in the Japanese version as Pish and by her goddess name Yellow Heart, is a young child who plays a central role in the anime adaptation of Hyperdimension Neptunia. She is a human child from the Ultra Dimension who appears in the Hyper Dimension as a lost girl and is taken in by the goddess Neptune. She has the appearance of a small girl around five years old, with short blonde hair, oversized hair ornaments, and a brightly colored outfit with unusually large shoes, and she carries herself with boundless energy.
Her background is tied to the conflict between the dimension she came from and the world she arrives in. After she is found wandering alone, she is brought to Planeptune and cared for at its Basilicom, with Neptune acting as her guardian while the oracle Histoire investigates where her real parents might be. During this period she is abducted by the Seven Sages, a group who seek to seize power, and they transform her into a Console Patron Unit, or CPU, making her the goddess of their newly established nation of Eden. As part of this process her memories are tampered with and her mind is manipulated, turning her into a weapon who fights against Neptune and the other CPUs of Gamindustri.
In personality, Peashy is energetic, cheerful, outgoing, and extremely playful. She loves to run around and play, and she is noticeably rough in how she does so, frequently tackling others and breaking objects without meaning any real harm. She is quick to fight back against anyone she sees as a threat, and despite her tough and boisterous behavior she is emotionally sensitive and cries easily. She is not particularly sharp-witted, but she compensates with enthusiasm and a straightforward, affectionate nature. When she transforms into Yellow Heart, her personality remains largely the same, but she embraces battle much more readily and treats combat almost like a game, which makes her transformed state far more dangerous than her childlike demeanor suggests.
