Description
Lenne de Clorance is the eldest son of the Clorance Marquis family and holds the title of Baron. He serves as a highly loyal military officer and vice-commander of the Order of Marksmen, also referred to as the Royal Knights. As Elise de Clorance’s older brother, he is physically a tall man with short blond hair that covers the left side of his face and blueish-purple eyes.
His personality is characterized by strictness and aloofness, especially toward his sister. Unlike the rest of his family, who spoiled Elise and enabled her former terrible behavior, Lenne never gave in to her demands. In Elise’s first life, she disliked his harsh words, but after her reincarnation she came to understand that his strictness stemmed from genuine care and deep concern for her well-being. In her second chance at life, she learns to rely on his advice and judgment.
Lenne’s motivations are rooted in protecting his family and upholding his duty as a noble and officer. He is fiercely devoted to the Clorance household and demonstrates unwavering loyalty to the crown. His role in the story is primarily as a supportive figure who challenges Elise to better herself, both through his stern demeanor and his quiet, principled actions. He often serves as a foil to the more indulgent members of their family, providing a necessary counterbalance to Elise’s past impulsiveness.
Key relationships include his bond with Elise, which evolves from one of tension and resentment in the past to mutual respect and trust in the present. He also interacts with other members of the noble and military circles, maintaining a reputation for competence and reliability. Over the course of the story, Lenne’s character shows development as he gradually softens his stance toward his sister, acknowledging her genuine efforts to atone and improve the kingdom.
