Description
Reika Satō led the idol group 22/7 until her graduation on December 26, 2021. Hailing from Aichi Prefecture, she was 17 years old during her group activities. She sported medium-length red hair and matching red eyes, always wearing her signature white flower clip on the left side of her face. Her designated penlight color was red.

Her personality blended strong leadership with relatable flaws. As student council president and an honor student, she embodied responsibility and honesty, deeply disliking deceit. Group members respected her yet occasionally teased her for being air-headed. She excelled at housekeeping but struggled with electronic devices. Her favorite foods were tofu, leeks, and natto. She felt anxious about empty days on her schedule and being the center of attention. Her guiding motto, derived from psychologist William James, was "If words change, the heart changes." Her aspirations centered on pursuing socially impactful work and easing her father's burdens, reflecting her father complex. Her fears focused on unemployment.

Reika's background was marked by formative events. Her mother, facing health complications during childbirth, prioritized Reika's survival and passed away shortly after. This instilled in Reika a commitment to live nobly and honestly, honoring her mother's wish. Her unreliable father shaped her domestic competence and protective instincts. She briefly dated an upperclassman named Kamiyama in high school but ended the relationship to concentrate on studies. Her skills included competitive swimming at the prefectural level, and she enjoyed reading.

Within the group, Reika forged key relationships. She relied on Akane Maruyama during personal struggles, particularly a conflict over a revealing swimsuit photoshoot in Okinawa. Akane provided a decision-making dice, helping Reika reconcile her discomfort with her leadership duties. Sakura Fujima offered emotional support, trying to lift her spirits during low points. When appointed leader, Reika questioned if Nicole Saitō was better suited, though Nicole declined the role.

Reika participated in subgroup formations, including "Natural Type" (with Nicole, Ayaka Tachikawa, and Jun Toda) and "Sexy Type" (with Nicole, Ayaka, and Akane) during subunit planning. She also operated as a Virtual YouTuber, launching her channel in September 2018 and debuting content in February 2019.

Her character development peaked during the Okinawa photoshoot incident. Initially refusing participation due to perceived conflict with her noble ideals, support from members and the dice ritual helped her embrace the role, demonstrating adaptability. This event underscored her dedication to both the group and her personal values.

Reika graduated alongside several members, concluding her active involvement. Her character retired officially on December 27, 2021.
