Description
Chloe Morgan is a pivotal supporting character in The Kingdoms of Ruin, known as the Witch of Frozen Ice for her mastery over ice magic. She is a striking woman with long, straight blonde hair usually tied in a high ponytail and blue eyes. Her attire typically includes a blue hooded cape lined with white fur, a white crop top, and light blue form-fitting pants with golden accents, reflecting a design that is both practical and distinctive.

In the past, Chloe found a young, homeless human boy named Adonis and decided to raise him as her own child, despite the laws of the witch nation forbidding a witch from teaching magic to a human. This act of compassion led to her own banishment from the witches' society. She became not only his surrogate mother but also his mentor, teaching him everything she knew about magic and nurturing him with deep, genuine care. Their relationship was the core of her existence, and she traveled with him constantly, searching for a country where witches could live ordinary, peaceful lives free from persecution.

Despite her cold nickname and immense power, Chloe’s personality is warm, cheerful, and open. She treats everyone equally, has a playful side, and is known to tease Adonis affectionately. However, she possesses a strong pride in her identity as a witch. This pride manifests as a refusal to use her magic for frivolous purposes or to rely on modern human technology, which she dismisses as "weird machines". She is deeply compassionate and selfless, consistently placing Adonis’s safety above her own and guiding him toward restraint and mercy, even when she is the one in danger.

Chloe’s primary role in the story is as the tragic catalyst for the main plot. She and Adonis are eventually captured by the forces of the Redia Empire, which is dedicated to the extermination of all witches. In a brutal public execution designed to humiliate her, the Empire uses a special device to nullify her magic, leaving her powerless. Her final act is one of ultimate sacrifice: she begs Emperor Goethe to spare Adonis’s life, willingly giving up her own to save her adopted son. She is brutally killed in front of him, an event that shatters Adonis and fuels his genocidal revenge against all of humanity.

In terms of abilities, Chloe is an exceptionally powerful witch. Her ice magic is potent enough to annihilate an entire squad of soldiers single-handedly, demonstrating the peak of what a witch can achieve. As a master of ice manipulation, she earned her title as the Witch of Frozen Ice. Even so, she never flaunts her power and only uses it when absolutely necessary, preferring a peaceful existence over conflict. Due to her death occurring in the very first episode, Chloe experiences no character development within the narrative's present timeline; instead, her influence persists through Adonis’s memories and his desperate, later attempts to find a way to resurrect her.
