Ryoko Shiraishi is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on September 7, 1982 in Kashiba, Nara Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. Shiraishi made her debut as a voice actress in 2002 with a small role in the anime series GetBackers. Her first leading role in an anime came in 2005 when she voiced the protagonist Takashi Shiratori in Mahoraba Heartful Days.

Shiraishi is known for her versatile and husky vocal range, which allows her to portray a wide variety of characters, including young boys, teenage girls, and adult women. She is also skilled at speaking with a strong Osaka dialect. In 2007, she was personally chosen by the original creator to voice the protagonist Hayate Ayasaki in the long-running series Hayate the Combat Butler, a role that became one of her most iconic performances. Her other major anime roles include Aoi Nogami in Zettai Karen Children, Hime Onizuka in SKET DANCE, Kaede Nagase in the Negima! franchise, Mako Someya in Saki, Yozuru Kagenui in the Monogatari series, Hikage in Senran Kagura, and Chocho Akimichi in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. In 2020, she voiced Sora Takenouchi in Digimon Adventure.

Beyond anime, Shiraishi has an extensive career in video games, most notably as the voice of Asuka Kazama in the Tekken fighting game series. Her other significant game roles include Jay in Tales of Legendia, Rem Tokimiya in Final Fantasy Type-0, Chip in Sonic Unleashed, and Devola and Popola in Nier. She has also been active in dubbing foreign media for the Japanese market, frequently providing the Japanese voice for actress Miley Cyrus. Shiraishi was formerly a member of the voice acting unit DROPS. As a singer, she has released several singles and albums under the StarChild label. Her career has also included roles in numerous other franchises such as Beyblade Burst as Free De La Hoya, To Your Eternity as a young Gugu, and World Trigger as Yomi.
