Nonako Miyokata, whose real name is Anna Sarizae, is one of the main protagonists of Magical Girl Raising Project Restart. She is a foreign girl with a long-standing interest in Japanese culture, and upon becoming a magical girl she adopted a miko-themed appearance along with an old-fashioned Japanese alias. In her civilian life, she keeps a pet hamster named Tama. Her magical ability allows her to befriend any animal that is less intelligent than a human, turning them into her familiars. To activate this power, she must first win against the animal in some way, whether through combat, gaining its affection, or any other means of overcoming it. Nonako is a kind and gentle person who deeply loves animals, and she can be somewhat overenthusiastic in her interactions. Her speech patterns are distinct, as she frequently mixes in words from another language in the middle of Japanese; in the original Japanese release she sprinkles English words, while the English translation renders this as occasional French phrases. Within the game administered by Keek, Nonako is a member of Team Clantail, alongside Pechka, Clantail, and Rionetta. She does not get along well with Rionetta, and the two often clash verbally. This poor communication proves fatal when, while arguing with Rionetta during a dangerous situation, Nonako is ambushed and killed from within by a wraith. Her role in the story is that of a well-meaning but ultimately flawed participant whose inability to cooperate leads to her downfall. Despite her short time in the narrative, she displays a genuine affection for the creatures she befriends and shows early signs of warming up to other teammates, notably Pechka. Her abilities, centered on animal taming and familiar creation, set her apart from many other magical girls whose powers are more directly combat-oriented.
