Jenya, born Yevgeniya Ivanovna Davidyuk on March 22, 1981, in Novosibirsk, is a Russian voice actress, singer, and radio personality based in Japan. Her interest in voice acting was sparked at the age of sixteen after watching the anime Sailor Moon. She studied information technology at Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management, during which time she founded an anime club and learned Japanese at a local cultural center. Before relocating to Japan permanently in 2005, Jenya had already visited the country in 2002 after gaining attention for posting performances of anime songs in Japanese on her website. Her early years in Japan involved work in Akihabara and roles as a Russian language coach for anime productions, including Black Lagoon.

Jenya made her formal voice acting debut in 2009 with a minor role in the anime film Evangelion 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance. Her career is distinguished by her ability to portray Russian-speaking characters, a niche she has come to occupy within the Japanese anime industry. One of her most recognized roles is Klara in the Girls und Panzer franchise, a character who first appeared in Girls und Panzer der Film. The character of Klara, a Russian exchange student, was reportedly created by director Tsutomu Mizushima specifically with Jenya in mind, and she also supervised the Russian dialogue for the film. She has reprised this role in subsequent installments, including the Girls und Panzer das Finale film series.

Her filmography includes a variety of other significant roles. She voiced Lady Doubt in the Mysterious Joker anime series. In the series Cheburashka Arere?, she provided the voice for the character Rariska. Other notable anime roles include Viola in Last Exile Fam, The Silver Wing, Zoya in Akiba Maid War, and Elena Arshavina in World Break Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman, for which she also provided the Russian dialect. Her work extends to video games, with roles such as Desna in Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 and AK74M in Girls Frontline.

Beyond acting, Jenya is frequently credited as a Russian language supervisor on numerous projects, ensuring linguistic accuracy in productions like Yuri on Ice and Hina Logi from Luck & Logic. This role as a cultural and linguistic consultant is a recurring theme in her career. She has also been active as a singer, performing with the Game Symphony Japan orchestra on multiple occasions and contributing to music groups. Her presence in Japanese media extends to television, where she has been a regular on variety programs and Russian language instruction shows for NHK. Throughout her career, Jenya has been affiliated with several talent agencies, including 81 Produce, and currently works as a freelancer.
