Kotarō Komaki is a key supporting character in Overtake!. He is the son of Futoshi Komaki, the owner of Komaki Motors, and works as the team’s mechanic for their F4 racing effort. He is 17 years old and in his third year of high school. He has a height of 175 centimeters and blood type A. Kotarō grew up alongside Haruka Asahina, the team’s driver, and the two are as close as brothers, often addressing each other with the nicknames Kota and Haru. Their families have been close since childhood, and Kotarō has been involved with cars and racing from a young age, helping his father at the family business.
