Tasuku Hatanaka is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and singer born on August 17, 1994, in Sagamihara, Kanagawa Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Ken Production and made his voice acting debut at a young age. While in the fifth grade of elementary school, he was cast as the voice of Edmund Pevensie in the Japanese dub of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe after participating in a public audition, a role he would reprise for the film series' sequels. His first leading role in an anime series came in 2011 when he was cast as Yuma Tsukumo in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal.

Hatanaka's career has since featured a wide range of prominent roles. He is well known for playing Denki Kaminari in the long-running series My Hero Academia. He has also taken on lead roles in numerous other anime, including Ushio Aotsuki in Ushio and Tora, Ikoma in Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, Reki Kyan in SK8 the Infinity, Fudō Nomura in Armed Girl's Machiavellism, and Hakkai Shiba in Tokyo Revengers. In addition to these, his filmography includes Yūzō Morisaki in Captain Tsubasa, Shutaro Kurusu in Mars Red, Satsuki Itō in Paradox Live The Animation, Yū Nagami in My Sister, My Writer, Taiga Kōgami in the King of Prism series, Anya Kudō in The Ones Within, Tōma Shinjō in Stars Align, Yutaka Babayaro Inomata in RE-MAIN, and Sōichi Tanuma in Those Snow White Notes. He also voiced Luigi in the Japanese dub of The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

Beyond anime, Hatanaka is active in video game voice acting and dubbing foreign films. His notable game roles include Gorou in Genshin Impact, Leslie Kyle in Final Fantasy VII Remake, Yozora in Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind, and Blast Man in Mega Man 11. His dubbing work includes providing the Japanese voice for Thomas, played by Dylan O'Brien, in The Maze Runner film series and Flash Thompson, played by Tony Revolori, in the Spider-Man: Homecoming films. He has also voiced characters in tokusatsu productions, such as the title character in Ultraman Z.

In addition to his acting work, Hatanaka is a singer. His musical career includes performing theme songs for anime, such as "Dying Wish" for the first opening of Moriarty the Patriot and its second opening, "Twisted Hearts". He is also a member of the Animate Channel group 8P. In 2016, his performances were recognized when he was listed among the Best Voice Actors in the Newtype Anime Awards for 2015-2016. Hatanaka also collaborates musically with fellow voice actor and close friend Daiki Yamashita; their duo's first EP, "Share," topped the charts at a Tower Records Shinjuku store in September 2025.

Hatanaka comes from a family of actors; his father is Hiroshi Hatanaka and his mother is Keiko Fukushima. He is married to fellow voice actress Sayaka Senbongi, with the marriage announced in December 2019.
