Description
Jesus "Diablo" Guzmán is a celebrated wrestler in the Lucha Ultima organization. He possesses a tall, muscular build, tan skin, and shiny black hair. His distinctive tattoos include flames on his forearms and large eyes on his shoulder blades. Diablo's black eyeballs with yellow irises and pitch-black nose skin are typically hidden by his mask.

Traumatic experiences forged his cynical and brutally honest personality, often clashing with more idealistic peers like his rival Jesse Christ. His backstory, explored in the spin-off comic *Puta Madre*, reveals he was imprisoned at age twelve after his mother framed him for his infant brother's murder. During his seven-year sentence, he developed an aggressive survival instinct and formed ties with a prison gang. Following release, he joined a street gang, seeking revenge against rivals responsible for his adoptive family's deaths. This period culminated in a pivotal loss of humanity, symbolized by a permanent physical transformation of his eyes.

His wrestling career began after recruitment into Lucha Ultima, where he channeled his rage into combat. During this transition, he experienced a dream confronting his imaginary childhood entity "Spooky," who transformed into Angelino—a central figure in the main series. This moment foreshadowed Diablo's later role protecting Angelino during the Macho alien conflict.

In the primary narrative, Diablo aids Angelino and his allies against the Macho invasion. He participates in critical battles, leveraging his combat skills alongside fellow Lucha Ultima members. His pragmatic outlook contrasts with their idealism but proves vital to their collective resistance.

Diablo reappears briefly in the sequel-era spin-off *Loba Loca*, which introduces his illegitimate daughter, Guadalupe. Though he does not physically appear in her storyline, his legacy influences her journey as she discovers his identity through her mother's diary.
