Description
Lord Peltrola is an executive of the Villainous Army, known by the codename Rooster, and one of the few high-ranking monsters to survive the original invasion of Earth. In the past, Peltrola descended from the floating fortress and was worshipped as a god by a group of believers, only to murder every one of them. This act reveals a core aspect of his personality: he genuinely sees himself as a divine being, entitled to absolute worship and obedience. His motivations are driven by a godlike arrogance and a desire to reclaim his former dominance. He resents the humiliating charade that the remaining Dusters are forced to perform for the Dragon Keepers, but rather than seeking liberation for his subordinates, he seeks to reassert his own power and authority.
Peltrola plays a major antagonistic role during the Bailong’s Nest Arc, where he emerges as a hidden threat within the Ranger organization. He is later responsible for the death of the Blue Keeper, Shougo Aoshima, after escaping with the help of Yumeko Suzukiri. He also forms a temporary alliance with the rogue Duster known as Footsoldier XX. His relationship with the protagonist, Footsoldier D, is one of contempt and opposition: D resents Peltrola for abandoning the Dusters years ago and rejects his offer to join forces, preferring to pursue his own path of revenge against the Dragon Keepers. Peltrola’s development is limited; he remains a consistent, unrepentant figure of chaos and self-importance, reappearing as a minor antagonist in later arcs.
The most notable of Peltrola’s abilities is his power to create multiple copies of himself. Every copy is as real as the original, making him extremely difficult to defeat in direct combat. This cloning ability, combined with his regenerative immortality as a monster, allows him to survive encounters that would destroy other villains. He is also physically formidable, able to tear through Ranger facilities and injure high-ranking officers with ease. His presence inspires fear and confusion among both the Ranger forces and the Dusters, as his unpredictable appearances threaten the fragile order maintained by the Dragon Keepers.
