Description
Princess Ellee is the young princess of Sky Land, a kingdom that floats in the sky, and she is known within the story as the Child of Destiny. Although she is raised by the King and Queen of Sky Land as their daughter, her origins are unusual: she was created by Princess Elleelain, a former ruler of Sky Land and a legendary Pretty Cure known as Cure Noble, who gathered her power over three hundred years before becoming a star. Ellee is entrusted to the royal couple to be raised, and she is regarded as a figure of great importance to the future of her kingdom.
At the beginning of the story, Ellee is an infant with wavy light violet hair styled in wing-like pigtails, a teal hair accessory with pink accents and a wing pattern, and green eyes with pink accents. She has a cheerful and playful temperament for a child her age, and her speech is marked by her habit of saying "Eru~!" as an exclamation. Over the course of the series she grows from an infant into a toddler, and although she matures in small ways, her lively and somewhat cheeky nature remains consistent.
Ellee's role in the story begins when she is kidnapped from Sky Land by the Undergu Empire, an enemy force that seeks her out because of her extraordinary power. She is rescued by Sora Harewataru, a girl from Sky Land who dreams of becoming a hero, and the two are transported to the human world through a warp, ending up in Sorashido City. There Ellee comes to live with Sora and Mashiro Nijigaoka, and she becomes the emotional center of the group that forms around her. Her presence is the reason the team comes together, and her safety and well-being are central concerns for the other characters throughout the early part of the series.
Ellee possesses the ability to create the Sky Tones, the items that allow the Pretty Cures to transform and fight. This makes her indispensable to the team's power, and it is also the reason the Undergu Empire wants to capture her. As the series progresses, her desire to protect the people who have protected her grows stronger. When the other Cures are exhausted and in danger, Ellee's determination to save them causes a Mirage Pen to appear within her, allowing her to transform for the first time into the mythical Pretty Cure known as Cure Majesty. In this form she appears as an older girl, and she proves capable of facing powerful enemies, even gaining the upper hand against the opponent Skearhead.
Cure Majesty is described as a legendary and mysterious Pretty Cure, and Ellee's transformation marks a major turning point in the story, as she becomes the fifth member of the team. Her arrival completes the group and expands its range of attacks. Among her notable abilities are the combat skills she displays as Cure Majesty and the team's combined finishing attack, Majestic Halation, which is performed with her fellow Cures.
Ellee's closest relationship is with Sora, who saved her from captivity and remains fiercely devoted to her; Ellee, in turn, is deeply attached to Sora and the others. She also has close bonds with Mashiro, who helps care for her in the human world, as well as with Tsubasa Yuunagi and Ageha Hijiri, the other members of the team. Her relationship with the King and Queen of Sky Land is familial, though they are not her birth parents, and her connection to Princess Elleelain ties her directly to the kingdom's legendary past.
