Description
Rambos, known as Randrox in the English dub, is a supporting antagonist in the anime Tekkaman, the Space Knight. He is a high-ranking commander, sometimes described as a general or captain, within the forces of the alien Waldaster, and he serves as the most loyal servant of the Waldaster emperor, Dobrai.

His appearance is distinctive among the Waldaster leadership: he is a slender, small-statured alien with yellow skin and an insect-like quality to his design, and he is almost always seen wearing a red cape.

In personality, Rambos is cold-hearted, arrogant, and thoroughly overconfident, yet he is also intensely subservient to his emperor. This mixture of boastfulness and groveling loyalty is played for comedy throughout the series. His most recognizable habit is kneeling down and apologizing, often with a simple "I'm sorry," whenever one of his missions ends in failure. He fits the mold of a laughably evil villain, in that his menace is constantly undercut by his repeated defeats, his inflated sense of his own capability, and his comical deference to Dobrai.

His motivation is straightforward: he exists to carry out Dobrai's orders to conquer Earth and destroy humanity, and he hopes to succeed at these campaigns in order to maintain his standing with the emperor. He functions as one of the recurring threats in the story, directing Waldaster military operations against Earth and clashing with the Space Knights and their hero Joji, who fights as Tekkaman.

His defining relationship is with Dobrai, before whom he is obedient, fawning, and unwaveringly loyal. Against the defenders of Earth, he serves as the ongoing field commander whose invasion plots are consistently thwarted. As a character, he undergoes little personal growth or change over the course of the narrative. His role remains largely static, providing a steady antagonistic presence whose failures and apologies to his master become a running joke.

In terms of abilities, the series emphasizes his rank and authority rather than personal combat strength. He commands Waldaster military forces, issues orders, and acts as the emperor's representative in operations against Earth, but individual fighting prowess or special powers are not a central part of his portrayal. His significance comes from his position in the Waldaster hierarchy and his relationship with Dobrai, rather than from personal skill in battle.
