Kanta Hanamura is one of the three younger brothers of Yoshiko Hanamura, who is one of the title character Sally Yumeno's two best friends in the human world. He is a member of the Hanamura triplets, alongside his brothers Tonkichi and Chinpei. Together, the three boys are known for their high energy and a talent for causing trouble.

Kanta and his brothers serve as recurring comedic foils in the story. Their primary role is to generate mischief, often through the use of pranks that create problems for the main characters.
