Description
Laetitia Bresson, granddaughter of archaeologist Professor Bresson, inherits a deadly legacy. In Nazi-occupied France, her grandfather entrusted his family with a heavily trapped diary and a key amulet to keep them from the Ahnenerbe. Her parents perished in a car crash orchestrated by Ahnenerbe professor Lambert, who stole the amulet but missed the diary. As the sole survivor, Lambert adopted her, intending to exploit her connection to find the diary. Her name "Laetitia," a family tradition for women, serves as the diary's five-letter, eight-character password, distinguishing her from another franchise character named Leticia.

Lambert manipulates her genuine passion for archaeology—her path to uncovering historical truths—by promising enrollment at Boston University in exchange for stealing the diary. Reluctantly participating, she often apologizes to incapacitated guards, embodying her conflict between academic dreams and Lambert's demands. Her debut sees her disguised as a security guard during the Bresson Diary exhibition, foiling Lupin III's initial theft only for Fujiko to intervene and prevent her own success.

Lupin tracks her to her apartment, revealing he possesses the second amulet key inherited from his grandfather. Following Lambert's orders, she lures Lupin into a trap aboard a customized transport plane. There, she witnesses Lupin unlock the diary using both amulets and her name, revealing the Eclipse—an advanced power generator hidden in Teotihuacan. Overhearing Lambert and Ahnenerbe leader Gerard plot to use the Eclipse to resurrect the Third Reich for Hitler, she confronts them and is thrown from the plane. Lupin rescues her, aided by Fujiko, cementing her defection.

Lupin later reveals her true heritage as Bresson's granddaughter and Lambert's motive for adoption. He explains his grandfather collaborated with Bresson on the diary's security, each inheriting one amulet. This solidifies her alliance with Lupin's group and Inspector Zenigata against the Nazis. At the climax, attempting to stop Gerard and Lambert from weaponizing the Eclipse, she becomes Gerard's target. Lambert takes the fatal bullet meant for her, hinting at conflicted paternal feelings. Gerard then takes her to an Ahnenerbe base in Brazil, where Lupin, disguised as Hitler, defeats Gerard.

Afterward, expressing a desire to join Lupin's crew, she is declined; Lupin emphasizes her freedom to pursue academia. He gifts her an anti-gravity device salvaged from the Eclipse and secures her enrollment at Boston University based on her research paper. Their parting includes a hinted romantic moment, interrupted by Lupin's crew, with Lupin suggesting a potential reunion in five years.

In appearance, she has chestnut hair partially tied back, blue eyes, and is typically seen in a mustard jacket, tan shorts, and walnut-colored boots. Her character embodies intelligence, moral conflict, and resilience, evolving from a manipulated pawn to an independent academic. Her theme music is "Gift," with variations like "Young Passion of Laetitia" underscoring key scenes.
