Description
Gamao is a character who appears as a villainous figure associated with the organization known as Nightmare. He is introduced as a part-time employee of the group rather than a full-fledged member, a distinction that heavily influences his behavior and his place in the story.

In his human guise, Gamao has the appearance of a large, heavyset young man with a slouchy and unkempt look, typically dressed in a knit hat, a light blue jacket, and an orange T-shirt. However, when engaging in combat, he transforms into a monstrous form that resembles a large, toad-like creature with orange spots, wearing medieval-style clothing. His most notable physical trait in this form is his extremely long tongue.

Gamao is defined by his profound laziness and his primary motivation: the desire for easy money and a comfortable life with as little effort as possible. He shows very little loyalty to Nightmare, viewing his work for them merely as a way to get rich quickly. He is a habitual complainer who dislikes any form of inconvenience and tends to avoid direct confrontations unless he is forced into the situation. His slothful nature makes him a poor worker in any capacity; he abandons tasks easily and struggles to hold down any job.

His position in Nightmare is that of a subordinate to Bunbee, who acts as his direct supervisor. Gamao is not considered a regular agent, and his commitment to the organization's goals of stealing the Dream Collet is weak. He is more interested in what he can personally gain from the mission, even considering the idea of selling the Dream Collet for his own profit. After a failed early mission against the Precure team, Gamao does not return to Nightmare's headquarters. Instead, he drifts through the human world in a destitute state, taking on a series of odd jobs such as working in a supermarket or as a security guard, all of which he loses quickly due to his poor work ethic and lethargy.

Despite his separation from the group, Gamao maintains a supply of special masks, which he uses to create monster servants called Kowaina to fight on his behalf. His main method of attack in his monster form is his long, powerful tongue, which he can use to wrap around and immobilize his enemies, though this can sometimes backfire if his tongue gets stuck.

Development occurs when Gamao is approached by a higher-ranking Nightmare member named Kawarino. Kawarino tempts him with a promotion to the rank of executive if he can successfully retrieve the Dream Collet and provides him with a new, more powerful type of Kowaina mask. This promise of an easy path to a high-ranking position gives him a new sense of purpose, and he begins actively seeking out the Precure to prove himself. His story concludes when he finds a black paper left behind by Kawarino. Unaware of its true nature, he activates it, believing it will grant him overwhelming power. Instead, the black paper transforms into a mask that fuses with him, turning him into a massive, red-skinned beast and causing him to lose his sense of self. In this final, mindless state, he attacks the Precure with immense strength but is ultimately defeated by their combined attack and perishes.
