Peck Desmont is one of the main characters of the anime The Marginal Service. He serves as the mascot of the Marginal Service, the secret organization that polices Borderlanders, beings who exist on the border between the human world and the world of myth and who secretly live among humanity. Peck is himself a Borderlander, and his small, animal-like mascot appearance is part of how he presents to the world. He is male and has light brown hair and blue eyes.

Despite his cute outward look, Peck speaks in a rough and blunt manner, and this contrast between his appearance and his way of talking is one of his defining traits. His role within the organization is that of an active operative rather than a simple figurehead. He takes part in field missions alongside the rest of the team. During the infiltration of the gala hosted by the Borderlander pop star Rubber Suit, Peck was the one who stole the Crystal Skull while the other members staged a distraction, and earlier in the same operation Brian Nightraider survived an attack by using Peck's body as a bulletproof shield. These moments show that Peck is trusted with important tasks in dangerous situations and that his body is durable enough to serve as protection in combat.
