Akira Aoyama, a blue-haired male student, attends the same class as Satoru. He pilots a Mechatro WeGo robot, competing in races against other children and their robots at a seaside town’s secret base. When Satoru struggles to operate his WeGo, Akira invites him for another race, showing encouragement. Akira’s WeGo differs from Satoru’s older model with flexible, stretchable arms that interconnect. He functions as a friendly rival during these WeGo races.
