Mutsumi Tamura is a Japanese voice actress born on June 19, 1987. She is affiliated with the talent agency I'm Enterprise. A native of Aomori Prefecture who was raised in Tokyo, Tamura stands 153 cm tall.

Tamura is a graduate of the Japan Narration Acting Institute. She made her debut as a voice actress in 2007, voicing a young Kyosuke in the anime television series ef: a tale of memories. The following year, she landed her first leading role as Toppa Bashin in Battle Spirits: Shounen Toppa Bashin.

She is widely recognized for her distinctive, slightly husky voice, which she frequently uses to portray young male characters, a specialty that has earned her the nickname "Tamura Shonen" (Tamura the Boy) among fans. Some of her most iconic roles in this archetype include Jonah in Jormungand, the protagonist Lux Arcadia in Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle, and Lutz in Ascendance of a Bookworm. She also voices the adult female character Kobayashi in the popular comedy series Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid.

Her filmography is extensive and spans a wide variety of genres. Notable roles include Finn Deimne in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Koushirou Izumi in the Digimon Adventure tri. film series and Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, Sayaka Kanamori in Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!, Sonya in Kill Me Baby, and a young Kakashi Hatake in Naruto: Shippuden. In 2022, she voiced Ermes Costello in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and Santarō Mita in Tribe Nine. More recently, she has taken on roles such as Beelzebub in SAND LAND: THE SERIES and Clen in Clevatess -Majū no Ō to Akago to Shikabane no Yūsha-. She is also set to voice the lead character Wataru Hoshibe in the 2025 series Mashin Sōzōden Wataru.

In addition to anime, Tamura's work includes voice acting in numerous video games. Her game credits include the protagonist in Monster Hunter Stories, Asuha Kusunoki in Battle Girl High School, Teucer in Genshin Impact, and Quatre Salision in The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki - Farewell, O Zemuria. She is also active in dubbing foreign films and television series into Japanese, having voiced roles such as Riley Abel in The Last of Us, Bruce Wayne in Gotham, and Ben Hanscom in the It films.

In August 2014, Tamura took a temporary hiatus from work to undergo surgery for the removal of a polyp from her throat. She returned to work in September of the same year. Outside of acting, she enjoys calligraphy, an art she has practiced since elementary school, and is skilled in the sosho (cursive) and gyosho (semi-cursive) styles. She also plays the flute and is a grade 7 pianist. On April 1, 2024, she announced her marriage through her official social media account.
