Mickey is a main character and one of the friends from the Blue Sky Orphanage. She grew up alongside the other orphans, including Takeshi, Matsuo, and Goro, and lived a normal childhood until the arrival of alien forces. Mickey is a member of Takeshi’s American football team and is recognized by her pink jersey. After Takeshi discovers his royal heritage as the son of the king of planet Apolon, Mickey becomes one of the pilots of the UFO saucers that are launched from the hidden underwater base. Along with Matsuo and Goro, she pilots a support craft that provides cover fire during battles against the Dazaan army. Like the other pilots, she changes into her battle uniform by shouting the letters U, F, and O.

Mickey is portrayed as a courageous and loyal friend. Her primary motivation is to protect Earth and help Takeshi in his quest to defeat General Dazaan and avenge his father. She is part of the core team that operates the three component robots—Header, Trangur, and Legger—which combine to form the giant mecha Daiapolon. Mickey’s role is that of a support pilot, and she works closely with Takeshi, Matsuo, and Goro to coordinate attacks. Her key relationships are with her fellow orphans, especially Takeshi, whom she follows into battle with unwavering trust. Over the course of the series, Mickey transitions from a typical schoolgirl and football enthusiast to a capable and dependable fighter, though her character undergoes limited personal development beyond her role as a pilot. She does not possess any supernatural abilities; her notable skill is her proficiency in flying the UFO support craft and her teamwork in the combined robot operations.
