TV-Series
Description
Fea Anderson is the middle child and fifteen-year-old second daughter of the wealthy and unconventional Anderson family, residing in Los Angeles during the 1980s. Physically, she has an androgynous appearance with short blonde hair that reaches her ears and striking red eyes. Her appearance complements her personality, as she is known for being a tomboy, a trait she has exhibited since early childhood.

Personality-wise, Fea is characterized by her decisive and strong-willed nature. She is quite boyish and acts as the primary straight man of the story, frequently trying to keep her eccentric family members in check despite her own rash tendencies. Her caring nature is sometimes misinterpreted by others as being annoyingly nosy, but it stems from a genuine concern for the people around her. Fea does not perform well in academic settings, notably receiving poor grades in subjects like Spanish.

Fea's primary role in the story is as the essential lead character. The plot is significantly driven by her initial reaction to the arrival of Jonathan Allen, a five-year-old boy who appears at the Anderson home claiming to be the son of a deceased family friend. Unlike the rest of her family, who immediately welcome Jonathan, Fea is openly suspicious of his story and his presence, experiencing jealousy over the attention the new child receives. Her determination leads her to be the one who ultimately exposes the truth about Jonathan’s background.

Her key relationships evolve considerably throughout the narrative. Her most significant dynamic is with Jonathan, beginning with open antagonism and frequent arguments as she resents his place in the family. However, despite this rocky start, Fea eventually develops a deep affection for him and becomes the person who grows most attached to the young boy. Another major relationship is her romantic life, which is described as fluctuating. Her primary love interest is a boyfriend named Leif, and her experiences with him cause her to gradually show a more feminine side of her personality. Within the family, she interacts with her father Wilfred, mother Sharon, older brother Kai, and younger sister Tracy.

Fea undergoes notable development as the series progresses. She begins as a headstrong and jealous teenager resistant to change before gradually maturing. Her romantic relationship helps her embrace and express her femininity, a contrast to her long-held tomboy identity. Her journey with Jonathan transforms her initial animosity and suspicion into a powerful, protective affection, marking significant emotional growth. Regarding notable abilities, Fea does not possess any superhuman or extraordinary skills. Her abilities are grounded in her personality and include her sharp intuition, which makes her more perceptive than her family, and her overall physical nature as a result of her tomboyish lifestyle.
