Description
King the 100-Ton is a weight-type Chojin, or superhuman, who appears as a primary antagonist in the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne arc. He serves as the second-in-command of Team Mariposa, fighting on behalf of Kinnikuman Mariposa. His origins trace back to Detroit, Michigan, in the United States, and he is noted to be eighteen years old. Standing at 270 centimeters tall, his most defining characteristic is his body, which is composed of a mysterious, ultra-hard metal that allows his weight to be adjusted anywhere from one ton to his maximum of one hundred tons, making him the heaviest Chojin in the series.

In terms of personality, King the 100-Ton is portrayed as a tough, dangerous, and brutally cruel opponent. He demonstrates a notable lack of hesitation when tormenting weaker adversaries, such as when he easily overpowers and toys with Alexandria Meat. Despite his immense power, he is not particularly intelligent or quick-witted in a fight. His primary method of attack relies on following external signals, which reveals a dependence that his enemies can exploit. However, this intellectual shortcoming is balanced by an unwavering sense of loyalty and duty. He is deeply devoted to his master, Mariposa, showing a willingness to sacrifice his own life without hesitation for the sake of his team's victory. This dedication gives him a fierce determination and tenacity that makes him a formidable threat.

King the 100-Ton's role in the story centers on his devastating match against the Justice Chojin Terryman at Kumamoto Castle. After easily dispatching Meat, he faces Terryman in a seesaw deathmatch. His primary motivation is to eliminate Kinnikuman's team members to secure Mariposa's path to the throne. Throughout the fight, he acts as a near-unstoppable force, relying on Mariposa's instructions to unleash the full potential of his body. Key relationships are central to his function in the narrative; his bond with Mariposa is strictly that of a loyal subject to a commander, with Mariposa directing his transformations using special placard signs. His primary relationship among the protagonists is his brutal rivalry with Terryman, a fight that pushes both combatants to their absolute limits.

Regarding his development, King the 100-Ton shows little internal change during his main battle. His arc is more physical and tactical, showcasing his resilience and his master's manipulation. The turning point occurs when Kinnikuman realizes Mariposa is controlling the fight and interferes, throwing King's transformation system into chaos. This leads to his apparent death when Terryman shatters his body with a Calf Branding. However, showcasing his immense willpower and loyalty, King uses the last remnants of his strength to launch a piece of his broken body at Terryman, knocking him unconscious and forcing the match to end in a draw. Later in the series, he reappears, having survived his injuries, to repay his debt to Mariposa. He arrives to hold off the powerful Perfect Chojin, Papillonman, allowing his master to escape, demonstrating that his core trait of loyalty persists even after his defeat.

King the 100-Ton possesses a range of notable abilities derived from his unique metal physique. His primary skill is weight adjustment, allowing him to remove weights from his body to drop to twenty tons, which dramatically increases his speed, or add them back to maximize his crushing power at one hundred tons. He can also transform parts of his body into various objects such as iron balls, barbells, or spikes, though this ability requires him to view specific images on special placards, making him vulnerable if the cards are tampered with. His signature technique is the Jet Roller See-Saw, where he reveals a giant seesaw hidden beneath the ring. By jumping onto one end at full one hundred-ton power, he launches his opponent into the ceiling with enough force to shatter every bone in their body. He possesses immense physical strength and durability, with his metal skin being hard enough to bloody Terryman's fists on contact.
