Description
Dorami is a female cat-like robot from the 22nd century and the younger sister of the famous robotic cat Doraemon. She was manufactured in a robot factory and, unlike her brother who emerged as a defective unit, Dorami was produced without any faults, making her a more advanced and capable machine. Her physical appearance is distinct; she has a yellow body, a feature that sets her apart from Doraemon's blue coloring, and she possesses ears which are styled to resemble a large red bow. A notable ability is her capacity for flight, achieved through a propeller mechanism hidden on her head.

In terms of personality, Dorami is characterized as a cheerful, tender, intelligent, and tenacious individual. She is often described as being more efficient and effective than her brother Doraemon, a reflection of her superior design. Her behavioral traits include a fondness for melonpan, a type of sweet bread, and a well-known fear of cockroaches. When interacting with others, particularly Nobita, she displays a patient and nurturing demeanor, contrasting with Doraemon's more scolding approach. She offers encouragement and practical solutions rather than simply pointing out faults.

Dorami resides in the 22nd century alongside Sewashi, who is the great-great-grandson of Nobita. Her primary role in the story often involves traveling back in time to the present day to assist Nobita whenever her brother Doraemon is unavailable or off-duty. Her key relationship is thus with Nobita, whom she helps with daily struggles such as schoolwork, dealing with bullies, and overcoming personal insecurities. She also shares a sibling bond with Doraemon, which is considered unique as they became siblings by sharing oil from a single can.

Her motivations are deeply rooted in compassion and a desire to be a supportive figure. She aims to inspire confidence in those she helps, reinforcing the idea that kindness and small efforts can lead to meaningful change. In her specific adventures, a blue straw hat serves as a central symbol of her identity and resourcefulness; it is not merely an accessory but a functional tool that she uses, occasionally storing or deploying gadgets from it. Her character demonstrates a consistent, upbeat, and problem-solving nature, focusing on helping others navigate their challenges with empathy and advanced technology. As a more advanced robot, her technical capabilities are significant, including the ability to produce ten thousand horsepower, a vast increase compared to her brother's 129.3 horsepower. She also possesses her own set of futuristic gadgets stored in a fourth-dimensional pocket, similar to the one Doraemon uses.
