Description
Bird Bomber is a supporting Brave robot from the television series The Brave Express Might Gaine, where it serves as a member of the Bombers group within the Brave Express Team. The character is a Transformer with three distinct alternate forms. Its primary vehicle mode is a 253 Series Narita Express electric multiple unit train, and it also possesses an animal mode resembling a falcon suited for aerial combat. In this animal mode, Bird Bomber measures just over ten meters in length and can achieve flight speeds of approximately 2,580 kilometers per hour. The robot mode stands fifteen meters tall and has a specified weight of 19.9 metric tons.
The character was originally conceived under the name Narita Bomber, a reference to its train form based on the Narita Express line. As a member of the Bombers, Bird Bomber's primary function is to operate alongside its teammates Lio Bomber and Dino Bomber. Together, these three units can combine to form the larger robot Try Bomber. When further combined with the fourth member, Horn Bomber, the group forms the even more powerful robot known as Battle Bomber.
Bird Bomber is equipped with specific offensive abilities that leverage its animal form. Its signature attack is called Bird Sonic, which unleashes a powerful sixty thousand hertz super soundwave from the animal mode's mouth. Additionally, it can perform a Bird Slash, using its wings to slice through enemies. The character's role in the story is primarily as a support unit for the main protagonist, frequently being deployed to the battlefield to assist in combat operations.
A significant moment in the character's development occurs during the final battle of the series. In this confrontation, the combined form Battle Bomber is destroyed in combat after intervening to save the primary robot Great Might Gaine from being impaled by an enemy. Battle Bomber takes the fatal blow itself, resulting in its destruction. However, in the series epilogue, Bird Bomber and all other members of the Bombers are shown to have been successfully rebuilt alongside the rest of the Brave Express Team, indicating their restoration and continued existence after the conflict.
