Dankurō Toda, often known by his nickname Tankuro, is a character from the anime and manga series Dash! Yonkuro. He is a self-proclaimed Mini 4WD prodigy who is deeply passionate about the hobby and possesses considerable skill in customizing his machines. His designs are noted for their heavy and robust appearance, reflecting a preference for durability and power.

Tankuro's initial encounter with the main protagonist, Yonkuro Hinomaru, began with a misunderstanding that led to a brief rivalry. However, their relationship quickly changed when Yonkuro helped rescue Tankuro's car, the Hotshot Jr., and they soon became close friends. Following this event, Tankuro became a core member of the Dash Warriors racing team, where his abilities and dedication made him a fundamental pillar of the group.

His personality is defined by an intense love for Mini 4WD racing, which sometimes causes him to act impulsively or recklessly during competitions. This fervor, however, also represents the deep commitment that the Dash Warriors have for the sport. Tankuro's journey within the team saw natural progression. His primary vehicles include the Monster Beetle Jr. and the Hotshot Jr., but he later pilots more specialized machines such as the Dash-2 Burning Sun, which eventually received a significant upgrade to become the Dash-02 Neo Burning Sun. After the initial Mini 4WD championship concluded, the Dash Warriors temporarily disbanded. When new challenges arose, including races against the antagonistic Dark Dominion group, Tankuro reunited with his former teammates to re-form the team as the Hyper Dash Warriors, demonstrating his enduring loyalty and continued growth as a racer.
