Miyako Negishi, who goes by the nickname Neko, is a university student in modern-day Tokyo who has never felt like she belongs among her peers. She keeps her distance from the other girls in her class and instead spends her time with Haruka Saiki, a charismatic and flirtatious young man. Despite their contrasting personalities, Neko and Haruka share a close bond and a hidden secret: they both possess supernatural abilities.
