Description
Onslaught, who becomes the combined Decepticon warrior Bruticus, is a combiner leader who appears in the anime Transformers: Scramble City. Onslaught is the commander of the Combaticons, a five-member Decepticon military unit, and when the team merges he forms the torso and head of Bruticus, their towering gestalt form. The other Combaticons, Brawl, Swindle, Blast Off, and Vortex, form the limbs, and thanks to the Scramble Power system the limb positions can be swapped between the four smaller members.
In terms of background, Onslaught is the tactical brain of the group. He thinks of himself as a strategist who prefers to devise battle plans and let his soldiers carry them out rather than fight directly. When circumstances force him into combat, however, he becomes a relentless and furious fighter.
