Description
Nīna Andō is a supporting character in the anime Gakusaver, also known as Ryuuseiki Gakusaver. She is a high school freshman who is regarded as an idol among her classmates, and she is one of the eight students selected to act as pilots of a giant robot in the fight against alien invaders.
Her background begins with her placement in Unit 8, the group of eight students responsible for operating the Gakusaver robot. Her introduction as a pilot is marked by fear: when combat first began, she was so frightened that she fled, and she had to be forced back into duty. After returning, she found her place in the group and became the pilot of her own auxiliary robot, a machine sometimes called Nina Robo.
Her personality is characterized by nervousness and hesitation, especially under threat, which sets her apart from the more confident members of her team.
