Description
Karinka is a Steel Angel who appears in the series Steel Angel Kurumi Pure. She is distinguished by being a specially designed model, created by Dr. Ayanakouji and awakened by the organization known as the Academy. Her primary directive was to eliminate the protagonist, Kurumi, and retrieve a critical item known as the Angel Heart Dog that Kurumi possessed. To accomplish this mission, Karinka was given a significant power advantage. Unlike standard Steel Angels who are equipped with a single Angel Heart, Karinka was built with two of these powerful energy sources. This configuration, sometimes referred to as the Kalinka System, grants her immense physical strength and speed that far surpasses that of ordinary Steel Angels. A side effect of this dual-heart system is her independence; she does not require a master and is exempt from following the orders of her own creator, Dr. Wolski.
In terms of personality, Karinka is initially presented as a volatile and cunning antagonist with a fierce temper. She is not afraid to be underhanded, as demonstrated when she kidnapped the main character Nakahito Kagura to lure Kurumi into a trap.
