Description
Koichi Kamiya is the central protagonist of the 2001 anime series Babel II: Beyond Infinity. He is introduced as an ordinary middle school student who grew up at an orphanage. His life is completely altered when he begins experiencing strange nightmares and is contacted by a mysterious voice. This voice guides him to the hidden Tower of Babel, where he learns the truth about his heritage: he is the reincarnation and chosen successor of the ancient alien entity known as Babel I. Entrusted with the name Babel II, Koichi inherits immense latent psychic powers and must embrace his destiny as the defender of the earth.
