Yeong-Seon Kim is a prominent South Korean voice actor born on December 17, 1969. He began his career in the voice acting industry in 1994 and has been affiliated with the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) since 1996.
He is known for a prolific career dubbing a wide array of roles in animated series, films, and video games for the Korean market. He is the official Korean dubbing voice for actors such as Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom. One of his most enduring and high-profile roles is that of Kojiro, the Japanese name for the character James, in the Pokémon franchise. He has voiced the character in numerous series including Pokémon: Black and White: Rival Destinies, Pokémon Journeys: The Series, and films such as Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, and Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution.
