Description
Hassan of Serenity ranks among the nineteen holders of the Hassan-i-Sabbah title, the "Old Man of the Mountain" leading the Middle Eastern assassination sect. Her True Name is Hassan-i-Sabbah, distinguished by the epithet "Hassan of Serenity" reflecting her mastery of poison-based killings. Her origins trace back to ancient India during the BC era as a "Poison Girl" (Visha Kanya), a biological weapon crafted by the Assassins. Engineered to resist all toxins while becoming a lethal poison herself, her skin, bodily fluids, nails, and breath inflict instant death upon contact. This made her an ideal tool for silently eliminating kings, nobles, and generals, often within their private chambers. Her method involved establishing intimate relationships—posing as a lover or fiancée—to build "false happiness" before shattering it with assassination. This cycle of emotional betrayal and murder steadily eroded her mental stability. Accounts of her death vary: beheading by a suspicious general after refusing contact, revealing her identity to beg for death, or opportunistic killing.

Her appearance follows the traditional Hassan motif: a black form-fitting outfit and skull mask. Unlike others, she retained her natural face, a vital infiltration asset augmented by her Shapeshift (Infiltration Specialization) skill. This allows altering her appearance within physiological limits, including assuming opposite sexes or mimicking individuals. Her natural form features violet hair and a notably alluring presence used to lower defenses. Parameters include Strength (D), Endurance (D), Agility (A+), Mana (C), Luck (A), and Noble Phantasm (C/C+).

Class Skills comprise Presence Concealment (A+), enabling near-total invisibility until attack, and Independent Action (A), granting a week's autonomy from a Master's mana—honed through solo infiltrations. Personal Skills include Shapeshift (Infiltration Specialization) (C+), Poisoned Blade (C++) inflicting poison/toxic statuses, and Dance of Silence (B)/Dance of the Pale Death (A), enhancing instant-kill success, debuff application, Arts performance, and adding poison effects to attacks.

Her Noble Phantasm, Zabaniya: Delusional Poison Body (Rank C+), embodies her toxic physiology. Physical contact with her skin or bodily fluids kills living beings and corrodes non-Noble Phantasm armaments, though she controls the latter effect. Against Servants, contact causes pain and minor debilitation; three instances of mucous membrane contact (e.g., kissing) typically prove fatal. A last-resort technique disperses her poisonous blood at close range for massive damage. In Fate/Grand Order, this Noble Phantasm inflicts poison damage, can seal skills or NPs, and has an overcharge effect for instant death.

Personality-wise, she exhibits calm obedience and mechanical efficiency in duties, displaying little self-assertion. Her defining trait is devotion to individuals immune to her poison, viewing them as profound sources of relief and joy. She offers unconditional loyalty to such Masters, executing any command—including genocide—without hesitation or emotion. Conversely, she displays quiet fixation on testing whether others survive her touch, often leading to fatal interactions.

In Fate/Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver, summoned during the First Tokyo Holy Grail War by Master Seiji Jinga, she poisoned him fatally upon kissing. She then assumed human form, luring men for sustenance and spawning the "Miss Mary" urban legend. Later contracting with Manaka Sajyou, she assassinated targets like Tatsumi Kitano and the Isemi Clan. Caster resurrected Tatsumi as a living corpse, allowing Serenity non-lethal physical affection; she ultimately euthanized him as mercy. She perished fighting Saber to protect Manaka's plans, though her spirit later aided Saber against the Beast.

During Fate/Grand Order's Sixth Singularity (Camelot), she collaborated with fellow Hassans under Hassan of the Cursed Arm against Ozymandias' forces. She participated in Nitocris' kidnapping, retreating when Chaldea intervened and sphinxes arrived. Initially distrustful of Chaldea, she cooperated after they saved her village from Mordred's attacks.

As a Chaldea-summoned Servant, her relationships reflect her traits. She is perplexed by Arash's immunity and familiarity, unaware of shared history in other timelines. She views Heracles as a potential threat due to his Noble Phantasm negating repeat poison deaths. Fergus mac Róich fascinates her for his fearless curiosity about her toxicity, while Paracelsus assists her in non-combat matters like Valentine's events. She displays passive rivalry toward Servants romantically interested in her Master, silently observing them. The illustrator notes her affinity for accessories and "black cat"-like demeanor, emphasizing her happiness in Chaldea's environment.
