Description
Yuka Sakuraba assumed leadership as the 18th head of the Iga Ninja Clan after her husband’s demise. Though not of ninja lineage, her decisive actions during crises earned Iga Village’s trust through proven prudence and courage. She concurrently operates a rest stop in the Iga service area, maintaining this public role alongside clan duties.

As mother to the clan’s 19th heir, Ittoki Sakuraba, she enforces protective restrictions, forbidding him from casual socializing like karaoke or dating strangers. Her vigilance is validated when Ittoki’s acquaintance Satomi Tsubaki emerges as an assassin from the rival Koga clan. Commanding clan members, Yuka displays intolerance toward Tokisada Kaga’s idleness, physically disciplining him when required.

Her surname Sakuraba fuses "cherry blossom" (櫻) and "feather" (羽), while her given name Yumika originates from "archery bow" (弓) and "fragrance" (香). Her story concludes when Kido Minobe, the Koga clan’s acting head, frames her for murder. To avert full-scale war, she accepts the false accusation and surrenders. Killed in custody, this sacrifice aims to shield her son and preserve clan stability, deliberately provoking conflict through her death.
