He systematically maneuvers to position the Zabi family at the center of power, initially using Zeon Zum Deikun as a figurehead. Following Deikun's death, Gihren purges Deikun loyalists from the Side 3 government, facilitating the transition from the Republic of Zeon to the Principality. Rising to Prime Minister and Supreme Commander of the military, he effectively reduces Degwin to a figurehead.
