Banjō Ginga is a highly esteemed Japanese voice actor and narrator, born on November 12, 1948, in Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production. He is married to fellow voice actress Gara Takashima. Ginga began his career under his real name, Takashi Tanaka, and made his anime voice acting debut in 1976. On his birthday in 1982, he adopted the stage name Banjō Ginga, with one of his first credited roles under this new name being in the series Combat Mecha Xabungle.
