Description
Aganade, born a goddess and daughter of another deity, married King Stephan of Loon, uniting the divine and mortal realms. Their union produced a son, Coult, whom Aganade directly blessed at birth with exceptional physical abilities and a cheerful spirit. Her marriage's profound happiness, however, ignited the envy of Medusa, daughter of an evil spirit. Medusa transformed Aganade into a statue during Coult's infancy, an act that also petrified many others in Loon. This event became the central catalyst for the narrative. Aganade's petrified form persisted as a symbol of loss and the driving force behind young Coult's resolve to defeat Medusa and reverse her curse. His subsequent quest to the Land of the Dead aimed explicitly at restoring his mother and the other victims. Aganade's existence, her divine blessing upon Coult, her transformation, and the desire for her restoration form the foundational motivation for the protagonist's journey and the series' overarching plot.
