Description
Strata the Hunter started his career hunting dangerous wildlife before shifting focus to Bakugan upon discovering their existence. He adapted specialized hunting techniques and weaponry to track and capture these creatures, employing an energy-siphoning device to drain their power and leave them dormant. These captured Bakugan became inert trophies displayed within his mansion.

Initially affiliated with the organization AAAnimus under Philomena Dusk, Strata hunted Bakugan for profit, utilizing control devices to weaponize them for destruction. His early battles frequently targeted the Awesome Ones, who repeatedly thwarted his efforts to capture Bakugan, including attempts to seize their own partners. During this phase, his primary Guardian Bakugan was the Aquos-attributed Krakelios. A significant turning point occurred when Strata encountered a Core Cell, becoming infected with the Tiko's V Virus and forced into servitude under Tiko. He was eventually freed following a defeat by Dan, Wynton, and Shun, receiving subsequent medical treatment at Dusk Industries.

After Earth and Vestroia's rescue from Tiko, Strata reappeared working as a dogcatcher and kidnapped Lightning and Ebony. This led to another defeat when they escaped and battled him alongside Krakelios. He later collaborated with Colonel Tripp on Battle Island as part of Everett Ray's plan to detain Shun and Masato Kazami, facilitating McQ's theft from Kazami International Holdings. This effort also failed after he lost a battle to Shun and Masato.

In subsequent events, Strata transitioned to become a Ventus Brawler, replacing Krakelios with new Guardian Bakugan: Harperion, Hyper Cubbo, and Hydranoid. He accepted employment under the Bakugan collector Gregorius Reed, who sought the Healing Core Cell to summon Geogan warriors. During this phase, Strata joined the thief group Mad Masks to loot ancient Bakugan. He participated in the Battle Judgment Tournament in Vestroia, aligning with Reed and others under Viloch's plan to sever Vestroia from Earth. Though Viloch's team was ultimately defeated by Dan and Drago, Strata later pursued an independent path.

His battle record shows him as a persistent nemesis of the Awesome Ones, resulting in numerous losses. Key encounters included early skirmishes like "Strata's Fear," where he was linked to missing Bakugan cases, and later confrontations involving Lightning and the Mind Core Cell. Despite shifting alliances and motivations across seasons, his defining role remained that of a Bakugan hunter.
