Description
Mana Shikimiya is a first-year student at Marehoshi Private School's Takao Branch, having transferred from the main campus of Marehoshi Junior High School. She sought a quieter life after abandoning her idol dream, a decision connected to unresolved issues involving her older sister, Aone Shikimiya, the leader of the top idol group Stellamaris. Mana now resides with her aunt.

She possesses short auburn hair, typically chin-length with a small ponytail and a curled ahoge, regularly accessorized with a clover-shaped hair clip. Her eyes are dark blue, and she stands 153 cm tall. Her evolving idol costumes initially lacked the common skirt ribbon, featuring mismatched stockings, later incorporating striped fabrics, navy sleeves, and berets or ribbons.

Mana exhibits a shy, reserved nature, struggling with social interactions and a fear of crowds. She avoids confrontation and spicy foods, preferring fantasy books. However, during performances, she transforms dramatically, displaying exceptional singing and dancing abilities that reveal her innate talent, defining her character through this stark contrast between daily timidity and stage confidence.

Her background involves a strained relationship with idol activities due to her sister Aone's prominence and past experiences linked to the Prism Stage competition. This history causes initial hesitation when she encounters the Lyrical Tradition Dance Club, facing disbandment due to low membership. Drawn by the passion of members Sayu Tsukisaka and Mizuha Ichikishima, Mana joins to help save the club, reigniting her dormant aspirations.

As part of the newly formed idol unit KiRaRe, Mana becomes central to qualifying for the Prism Stage. Her development focuses on reconciling her past and overcoming internal conflicts, including confronting Aone during encounters with Stellamaris which forces her to address her insecurities. The climax occurs during the Prism Stage finals, where KiRaRe faces top rivals, including Stellamaris, and calculated near-impossible odds of victory. Persevering through the challenge symbolizes Mana's growth from avoidance to embracing her identity as an idol. Her journey concludes with renewed commitment to the club and acceptance of future challenges, such as a hinted rivalry with the group Tetrarkhia.
