Description
Haru Yayoi embodies March as the male representative in the Tsukiuta franchise. His name itself resonates with seasonal symbolism: "Yayoi" is the archaic Japanese term for March, while "Haru" signifies spring, anchoring him firmly to that season. He possesses collar-length sandy green hair, lime green eyes, and a small mole beneath his left eye. Notably the only character who wears glasses, his vision measures 0.7 in both eyes, enabling him to manage without them constantly. He stands 186 cm tall.

Haru exhibits a calm, gentle, and deeply nurturing personality, often described as a "mother-type" figure or "holy mother" due to his compassionate nature. He actively avoids conflict and enjoys the trust and reliance of both younger and older peers. Academically gifted, he carries the nicknames "trivia king" and "Harupedia," though he has only academically outperformed his close friend Mutsuki Hajime twice.

His journey began when he met Hajime in their second year of middle school. While searching for a veterinary clinic for an injured bird Hajime found, they were scouted by Tsukino Talent Production. Haru debuted during his third year of high school and is currently a university student.

Significant relationships define Haru's world. His bond with Hajime runs especially deep, characterized by mutual comfort and a friendship stretching back to middle school. He also shares a supportive dynamic with Fuduki Kai of Procellarum, as both act as pillars for their respective unit leaders. Others address him variably: seniors and formal acquaintances use "Haru-san," while close friends like Minaduki Rui and Shimotsuki Shun use "Haru."

Official media showcases Haru's "producer spirit," highlighted in the anime's second season when he conceptualizes a fairy tale-themed outfit collection for Six Gravity. Stuck selecting a unique fairy tale, Hajime accompanies him to a picture book store, reigniting his creative spark.

Trivia reveals his pet Japanese bush warbler, Hokekyo-kun—a symbol of spring. He is ambidextrous and owns multiple spare glasses featuring lenses with sun protection. His fears include acrophobia (fear of heights), narrow or unstable spaces, noisy environments, and overly spicy foods like wasabi. The nickname "Heartbreak Green" emerged after his duet song with Hajime, "KOI WASUREGUSA," ranked third in a magazine poll for "heartbreak songs," inspiring a recurring joke where he forms a fictional "Heartbreak Trio" with other high-ranking idols.
