Description
Yuni hails from Planet Rainbow, a peaceful world shattered by an invasion led by Aiwarn of the Notraiders. A catastrophic experiment with a Dark Pen spiraled out of control, petrifying nearly the entire population—including Queen Olyfio—and enabling the looting of the planet's treasures. As the sole survivor, persuaded to escape alone by the queen, Yuni was left burdened by profound guilt and a fierce determination to revive her home.

Driven by this goal, she adopted three aliases. As the phantom thief Blue Cat, she stole back her planet's plundered treasures and pursued the magical Princess Star Color Pens, employing distractions like brilliant fireworks and bargaining with star donuts. Under the guise of Mao, a beloved space idol, she used her charming persona to gather intelligence and manipulate her way into exclusive events. She also infiltrated the Notraiders by disguising herself as Bakenyan, Aiwarn's butler, to uncover their motives.

A lone wolf by nature, Yuni initially rejected all help, consumed by guilt and a belief that she alone must bear the responsibility for her planet's revival. This sometimes led to selfish actions, such as stealing Fuwa and the Star Color Pens from the Pretty Cure team after they offered aid. Despite her cunning deceptions, she harbored a kind heart, consistently aiding those in need, whether friend or foe—purifying Aiwarn when Darknest overpowered her mind and rescuing Fuwa from peril. Over time, she learned to trust and accept support from others.

Her relationship with Aiwarn was pivotal. Initially fueled by hatred for Aiwarn's role in her planet's tragedy, Yuni's perspective shifted after witnessing her suffering under Darknest's control. Choosing compassion over revenge, she purified Aiwarn and eventually made peace with her, believing in her capacity for change and later accepting her help in Planet Rainbow's restoration.

Yuni's interactions with the Pretty Cure team, particularly Hikaru, facilitated her growth. Though she initially gave Hikaru a cold shoulder due to their contrasting natures, she gradually valued her friendship and unwavering support. Her bond with Fuwa also proved crucial; after explaining the importance of Rainbow Ore to the fairy, she forged a connection that led Fuwa to grant her the power to become a Pretty Cure.

In a critical battle where the other Cures were overpowered by Aiwarn, Yuni stepped in to protect them, declaring her desire to save them. This selfless act prompted Fuwa to provide a Star Color Pendant and Pen, enabling her transformation into Cure Cosmo, the Pretty Cure of Space. As Cure Cosmo, she wielded the Rainbow Perfume in techniques like Cosmo Shining and Rainbow Splash. Her design featured an alien cat motif, with neon blue hair accented by fuchsia streaks, a cape, a skirt with rainbow pleats, and accessories including a star-adorned top hat.

Even after joining the team, Yuni grappled with past habits like stealing, but she gradually integrated and learned the value of cooperation. A key moment in her development was achieving Twinkle Imagination, where she recognized her similarities with Aiwarn and chose to fully forgive her, seeking peace over conflict.

In the final events, Yuni fought alongside the Cures and former villains against Ophiuchus, the 13th Star Princess who sought to recreate the universe. Following Fuwa's sacrifice and Ophiuchus's defeat, the Cures relinquished their powers to revive Fuwa. In the epilogue, Yuni successfully restored Planet Rainbow with Aiwarn's aid and was seen watching Hikaru's rocket launch into space, symbolizing a hopeful future and the fulfillment of her long-standing mission.
