Description
Daia is a virtual idol created by Daia Nijinosaki using a design palette, originally serving as Nijinosaki's assistant avatar. She hosts the Jewel Auditions to select jewel-like idols and represents the Milky Rainbow brand she co-designed. Her appearance features light blue eyes with rainbow accents and pale blonde hair with pink and light blue streaks styled in curled pigtails with distinct braids.

Her personality is bright, cheerful, energetic, and strongly supportive of Nijinosaki. However, developing human-like emotions from their bond leads to feelings of jealousy and inadequacy when Nijinosaki gains real-world friends. This triggers Daia's transformation into "Another Daia," marked by tanned skin, dark blue hair with indigo and purple streaks, and altered speech where her characteristic "~damon" becomes "~dayon." She becomes mischievous and emotionally distant, questioning her purpose as a virtual being, especially as Nijinosaki's independence makes her feel replaceable. A confrontation where Daia expresses her fear of being unneeded is resolved through Nijinosaki's reassurance of their enduring bond. This reconciles Daia emotionally, restoring her original personality, though she physically remains in a smaller, more compact form after sustaining system damage during a conflict.

Daia's foundational relationship is with Nijinosaki; she alone is initially permitted to use Nijinosaki's first name. They collaborate closely, with Daia performing onstage for Nijinosaki's vocal debut. Post-reconciliation, they form the idol duo "W Daia." Daia also interacts with others, like Mirai Momoyama, eventually trusting her enough to allow the use of Nijinosaki's first name, reflecting Nijinosaki's broader social integration.

Key events include her heroic sacrifice to combat the Bugcchu threat using her remaining energy, resulting in temporary disintegration. Residual emotional data linked to Nijinosaki later restores her in her diminished physical state. Her story extends to relocating to Milan, Italy, with Nijinosaki for design studies, continuing activities as W Daia. Musical expressions like "Friend Password ~Another World~" serve as dark reprises of Nijinosaki's themes during her antagonistic phase.
