TV-Series
Description
Mihono Asakura is a middle school student at Minoseki Academy, training as a Toji—a sword-wielding shrine maiden who combats supernatural threats called Aradama. She wields the okatana Kashuu Kiyomitsu.

She maintains an optimistic and straightforward personality, often acting as a mood maker among her peers. Her tendency to become easily distracted sometimes interferes with her ability to perform consistently at her best. Her personal motto, reflecting her determined nature, is “determined to be reckless” or “if you want something, charge right into it.”

A skilled swordsman, Mihono participated in her academy’s representative selection matches. She lost to Kanami Etou in the preliminaries, finishing third overall in the tournament. After her defeat, she and Kanami promised each other a future rematch. Mihono was present to see Kanami and teammate Mai Yanase off on their trip to Kamakura City and witnessed the events that occurred there.

She later becomes the first to witness the return of Kanami and Juujou Hiyori after their two-month absence from reality. In the comedic spin-off “Mini Toji,” set during a four-month interval in the main anime’s timeline, she appears as a recurring character alongside other Toji from the main series and mobile game.

Her birthday is May 31, she stands 152 cm tall, and she enjoys kakigori, a type of Japanese shaved ice dessert. She often annoys Kofuki Shichinosato by mocking her “barbaric” attitude, leading Kofuki to tease Mihono about her sparse appearances in the anime series. Her childhood friend, Chie Setouchi, acts as a big sister figure to her.
