Description
Issun-Bōko descends from the folk hero Issun-bōshi, her family name honoring this lineage. She sports long brown hair in twin ponytails that obscure her eyes, evoking the bowl-shaped hat from her ancestor’s folklore, and dons a standard school uniform. Her personality exhibits chuunibyou tendencies, marked by a gloomy disposition and cryptic, pretentious dialogue about destiny and legendary conflicts. She wields an ancient magic mallet inherited from her ancestor, enabling her transformation into the top idol persona Noririn. As Noririn, she performs idol songs such as "Tokimeki♡Wonderland." The mallet’s powers—rooted in her ancestral heritage and reminiscent of Issun-bōshi’s folklore ability to alter size and access magic—solely facilitate this alternate identity, granting no additional superhuman abilities.
